Hey, everyone! I realistically could have gotten this out yesterday, but spent a little more time on Oba. As for the filesize, I apologize. I'm aware 2gb per episode is quite large, but I don't have the skills to make my own encode. So, why is this taking so long? Well, I'm doing this all by myself and it's my first time doing it. It's fun, but much more tedious than I originally assumed it would be. I still plan to do the whole show, and I think I'm absolutely getting quicker. I'm retranslating each episode from the ground up (I don't really trust Ocean with anything). However, I did find a source for Japanese subs, which should be a huge speed-up!! I can use them for timing instead, and it'll mean I'm not going by ear for translation. NOTES: - Yes, Oba uses netspeak. He learned all of his Japanese from 2chan. I have no idea why Ocean didn't even attempt to translate these nuances. His manga text doesn't use any kanji, and he speaks emojis out loud. I decided it would be best to translate this as speaking in lowercase, as well as some abbreviations here and there. It's probably not for everyone and maybe a little obnoxious, but it comes off like that to natives as well. - Someone asked if they could donate to me, but I would rather you spend that money on the manga. Pancha Diaz, the editor, is fantastic at what she does and has worked on almost every Asano series. While you're at it, maybe check out Goodnight Punpun. It's extremely dark and will probably fuck you up, but the English manga is immaculate and I personally consider it one of the greatest manga ever made. - Feedback is still very appreciated!
