This edition looks a bit better than the _Ultimate Edition_ hence I've decided to keep this around, but the audio tracks are filtered (a known issue by fans in Spain across their diverse languages). The chart below tries to imply the _Ultimate Edition_ is better by "improving the picture" (what they did was basically 30A on DVD).

Note: This does not have NEPs whereas the _Ultimate Edition_ does (they're subbed as they were probably deemed unnecessary back in the day).
Note 2: I noticed that episodes from the Freeza arc have what I'd call "tape marks" albeit that may not be the exact term used.

I remember now, yes it was. Difference is, all DVDs here work correctly and are in ISO whereas the old backup went around included a corrupt DVD volume (Disc 36, IIRC).
[PlayArte](https://www.amazon.com.br/s?k=Dragon+Ball+Z+PlayArte&__mk_pt_BR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&ref=nb_sb_noss) was or is still releasing Dragon Ball Z on DVD. They released from the Saiyan arc to Freeza arc so far.
PlayArte is like Brazil's Discotek (and that's awesome).
Edit: If someone has those DVDs please upload them. Trying to get high quality audio of the Brazilian-Portuguese dub is practically impossible since it's compressed everywhere on the web.
Romao’s Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1114198#com-84, down in the comments he provides a google drive link with the Brazilian Portuguese audio.
Does sound good although it makes me wonder if/how much better the PlayArte audio source is. Even if it is just up until the Freeza arc.
Brazilian Portuguese, Latin Spanish and Catalan are more or less the best three DBZ dubs ever made. German was pretty good too, I'd say so.
