I remember this tale from Furusato Saisei Nippon no Mukashibanashi (Hometown Rebuilding: Folktales from Japan) They did it in Episodes 19, 76, and 138 of the first season. It's a moral lesson that I wish more people were paying attention to during this Covid-19 outbreak. Especial one world leader who 5 months into this thing, still isn't doing anything for the elderly in nursing homes and care facilities.
