Practically all episodes from what I can tell have the official Kikuchi replacement, but episode 36 used a temporary Kikuchi score and I'm glad someone took the time to preserve the FUNi/CW dub.
Thanks again for another great upload. I am not so informed on Kai as I am with everything else that is Dragon Ball since Kai is the only thing I haven't downloaded yet. I was under the impression that the Kikuchi score was only used to replace episodes after something like the first 57-76 depending on which of the Toei or Funimation releases it is.
Can you tell me if this CW funimation dub is the only source that has most of the episodes with the Kikuchi score, and if it is only funimation that did this for the english dub. I would assume Toei didn't do this
This FUNimation dub is slightly different as they catered to an even younger audience, even though Kai (just like DB, DBZ, DBGT, DBS) were all for children but The CW / Toonzai wanted a dub that didn't offend parents and this was it. They removed words like "death" and visually edited Mr. Popo to blue (he's not even human, crying out loud), removed halos and so on.
The best thing for me about this dub really is episode 36 with the temporary Kikuchi score, its way better than the final arrangement.
Ok, I must have read about the the change with Mr. Popo a while ago, but since I haven't seen Kai yet, I thought that change was just for all versions of Kai. I'm very interested to see this. Thanks for taking the time to explain all of that.
I'll figure out later if this is the only version of Kai with the kikuchi score for most of the episodes. What you said is much more important to know about this torrent.
